"My mother has RA and has been put on the waiting list for a double hip replacement. The wait is about one year long and she is suffering with a lot of pain. Can you suggest anything for the pain?

I find that cutting out dairy helps reduce the frequency and severity of pain. Do dairy and other foods play a role in Sjogren's syndrome?

» This Months Healthful  Recipe:

Savoury Veggie Soup: 
 
 

1 18.5- ounce can of vegetable soup
1 15-ounce can of black beans,drained
1 8-ounce can fire roasted diced tomatoes (or other diced tomatoes)
1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan and simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors. Serve.
